Photos by Sue Thomas.The Kathleen Monahan Foundation Fund, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide supplemental funding and enhancements for the Tarpon Arts program and the City of Tarpon Springs, celebrated the newly renovated lobby for the Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center (PAC) located in Tarpon Springs City Hall. Members of the KMFF board joined Mayor Chris Alahouzos, City Manager Mark LeCouris, members of the Tarpon Springs Board of Commissioners, and Diane Wood and Kelley Riedy from Tarpon Arts in officially opening the new lobby.
The Performing Arts Center (PAC) was recently updated with new lighting, sound system, and a rear projection capability to increase the flexibility of set backdrops during theatrical productions giving the PAC the ability to transport patrons to Paris and Japan in productions such as “Libertaire” and “The Mikado.”
The next project for KMFF, made possible by a donation from board member David Wladaver and his wife Carolyn, is the renovation the Box Office, which will be completed very soon.Lobby Before
