In my own philanthropy and business endeavors, I have seen the critical role the arts play in stimulating creativity and in developing vital communities… the arts have a crucial impact on our economy and are an important catalyst for learning, discovery, and achievement in our country. –Paul G. Speakeasy Fundraiser
-
Our event, held at Currents Restaurant in Tarpon Springs, was a “roaring success.” Most people dressed in period costumes, and the food and drink was excellent. With two fabulous piano players and one singer, the music never stopped! The event raised a considerable amount of money, destined for supporting the Arts in Tarpon Springs. Great credit to Brian Orlick, who managed the event, as well as valuable assistance from Sandra Holubar.

Foundation Founder Has Passed Away
We are saddened by the death of Brent Wadsworth who, with wife Jean, founded the Kathleen Monahan Foundation (now the Kathleen Monahan Foundation Fund). Brent’s life was punctuated by his giving nature. He believed in self improvement as the way of making the world a better place. He supported many organizations and charities throughout the country who share his vision. Brent and Jean have been very generous to the arts in all forms, and we are honored to have known such a man and will continue Brent’s vision in our support of the arts.
